Pumpkin Smash: free Halloween arcade game
Pumpkin Smash is a one-minute Halloween arcade game that anyone can pick up. Glowing jack-o'-lanterns pop up on the screen, and your job is to tap or click them before they sink out of sight. The timer starts the moment you play, and when it hits zero you see your score.
Chain several hits in a row and you build a combo, which multiplies your points. Golden pumpkins are worth a big bonus, so keep an eye out for them. Watch out for the skull pumpkins, though. Smashing one is a mistake, so take a split second to check what you are about to hit.
It plays well on a phone with your thumb, on a tablet with two hands or on a laptop with a mouse. There is nothing to download, and each round is short enough to squeeze in between other things.
When the time is up, you can play again right away or use the share button to send your score to a friend. Passing a phone around to compare scores makes for a surprisingly good party game.
